About the event
The Cambridge Medieval Literature and Culture Seminar (“CamMedSem”) is delighted to invite you to our Student Workshop to present your ideas. This is an excellent opportunity for students working with Old French and/or Occitan material to share ideas for Long Essays, Year Abroad Projects, Optional Dissertations, and MPhil coursework, or even some work for a PhD project. Students are also invited to present ideas, readings, and/or arguments for Part IB/Part II work in preparation for exams. Each participant is asked to prepare some brief points on a particular aspect, topic, or text associated with their studies/work. You are welcome to use PowerPoint or other presentation software, but this is not required. Presentations will be followed by informal discussion.
We hope that the workshop will be an open space to exchange ideas and friendly, constructive feedback, and will give us all the chance to come together as a community of medieval-minded researchers.
Bring a beverage of your choice and join the conversation on all things medieval!
